Ready, Set, Go! / Working for TIGI

Hi guys!

It's my last day in Madrid, so I'm packing all my stuff before heading to the coast for two weeks, I'm so excited!
I need a proper holidays so much, there where I'm going, I will have not even a proper internet connection, so I'll be a bit more out of all this. I'll update my blog anyway sometime, don't even think I'm gonna stop posting for the whole two weeks. No way! haha.

Well, today I bring you a few pictures about the shoot I had last Thursday for TIGI in London. I made a trip go and back in the same day for this, so imagine, I had to get a flight so damn early in the morning. But whatever, the job was great, I knew almost all the team because I already worked for their campaign about two years ago.

Madrid - Telva

Hello from boiling Madrid!

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I had to deal with such a high temperatures, not even last summer when I came here for holidays was this hot. But it's ok, I miss that when I'm in London.
I arrived to Madrid on Tuesday night, and next day I worked for Telva Magazine here in Madrid, in their annual trend show. I have been doing it for the last three years, and it feels really good to see all my "spanish model family", so I really couldn't say no when they asked me to do it!
The show itself was really good, easy, I was specially happy with my outfits and easy-to-wear shoes, as I normally have shoe problems because of my small feet (I'm a size 5, 38 in Europe, and that's quite small when you're 5'10!).
After the show, I went straight to the hotel to sleep, next day I had a job in London and had to wake up really early (I will explain more about this job in my next post).

Heading to my hometown!

Hi guys, this is a quick update before heading to the airport. I'm coming back to Madrid for a few days!!
I'm so happy to see my family. I also have a job there tomorrow for Telva, and next day I'll probably be back to London for a one-day-trip to work here. Crazy.

Well, I just wanted to show you a few pictures I shot in LA with Ezra Patchett, I love them!!

Omg, what a intense week I had!
I honestly couldn't wait for the weekend to come this time, I needed to wakeup late so badly. Yesterday I was so tired I even ordered Thai food for delivery, the simple idea of cooking anything, even warm a soup, wasn't really tempting to me at all.

What happened yesterday? Well, I was shooting for Atterley here in London, and I really really enjoyed it.
The team was just so lovely to me... and that makes everything more enjoyable, Isn't it?
Ok, so we were shooting in Waddington Studios, at Islington borough, (inside and outside located) a few (more than a few) looks for this Summer. The photoshoot was inspired in real "street style", so no super posed, just natural and casual, same as makeup and hair. Simple and fresh.

You Magazine @ Glebe Farm, Colchester

And again, another road trip in one week!
Seems like I'm gonna get some really nice pictures for my book, this week is being great talking about editorial working. Always happy to have something fresh in my portfolio, since in LA I worked mostly in commercial. (that's LA thou!)

Well, this time we went to Glebe Farm to shoot for You Magazine (always happy to be back since is not the first time I work with them!), and it was a long and intense day. It was one those challenging shootings where I had to deal with facts like cold, nettles, insects, etc. Specially for the last thing, I'm just extremely paranoid about mosquitos and spiders, I just can't! (The mosquito phobia comes from Milano, were I always have to deal with the tiger mosquito and their painful bites).
Well, as you may imagine I had to jump, pose, and even lay down in the middle of the field, were you can find any kind of insect you can imagine and pretending I was enjoying it. The struggle was very real, but thanks God I'm quite good at faking this kind of situations at work.

Makeup54 / The photoshoot

Today's shooting was one of the easiest jobs I had in a while!
Only one pretty amazing makeup+hair look for a single picture, part of a new project named Makeup 54, mainly focused on posting pictures of different makeup looks on Instagram. So exciting!
You can now follow their Instagram account if you like to check different makeup looks by clicking here!

Makeup 54

Good morning!

OMG, I never felt Monday so strong just like I do today, I'm even kinda depressed, and I can't understand because I don't have a 9 to 5 job. Weird.

Anyway, today I have a lovely beauty shoot just for a couple of hours for a project named "Makeup 54", so I just woke up, had breakfast, and I decided to update with the pictures from yesterday before I leave.
Nothing to explain about yesterday, we went to the city center to go for a walk, but everything was closed.
Sunday evening in London, it is what it is.

Into the woods

Hi guys!

Yesterday I had a photoshoot for High Snobiety magazine.
The calltime was at 7am, I had makeup and hair preparation at the studio in Dalston, and after finishing we took a van heading to the countryside, two hours away from London.
We shot in different locations, but all of them somewhere between Eastbourne and Brighton. We had 4 different outfits (each), but every picture took longer than usual because they were also filming.

It was great! Was a long day, I arrived home about 10:30pm ish, but I had so much fun and I really enjoyed it, the team was really fun to work with!

Facial at @PaulEdmonds

Hello there!

Yesterday I had a facial treatment at Paul Edmonds (217 Brompton Rd, London) and I wanted to talk about it, because it was truly fantastic!
My therapist, Sonita, was super great and extremely professional. During the treatment, she kept explaining to me what she was doing and what was she using on my face. She also gave me some advice for my skincare, like taking more vitamic C. (I started today!) and using tea tree essential oil for the spots.
My skin is normally not bad, I get some spots sometimes, but it made my skin look so much better, even if now is a little bit red (that is totally normal after such a deep pore cleanse).

Feels good to treat yourself !

Mallorca @purobeach / Part II

Hi guys!

The sun is shining today in London, it feels so good! (and different, haha)
I'm off today, and I'm using today's day to make some paperwork I wanted to finish time ago, do grocery shopping, and updating my blog.
Well, supposedly I had to update my blog yesterday, but we did deep cleaning at home and I was exhausted. Sorry for that!

Lately I've been quite stressed thinking about the upcoming Tokio Hotel tour in Europe, I know it sounds SO FREAK but as most of you may know, I'm a huge fan of them, and what they did the last time they toured in Europe was announcing the tickets on sale so unexpectedly.
I don't like that, I need time to plan my stuff!! Haha.

Well, here you have the 2nd part of the pictures at PuroBeach in Palma de Mallorca.
I hope you like them!
